Reflective Supervision
Pip provides reflective supervision to other therapists, including psychologists, psychotherapists, social workers, occupational therapists, midwives and doulas. She holds the firm humanistic belief that as clinicians, we must be aware of our own histories and how this plays out in the therapeutic space.
Pip values safety within a relationship and prioritises the wellbeing of the clinician when reflecting on their clinical work. She holds space for clinicians to discuss their clinical cases, including therapeutic approach and process issues, while also holding space for a clinician’s personal history and how this may show up in the therapeutic space or workplace. Importantly, having worked in many big systems (public health and university settings), she understands the complex dynamics that can arise and enjoys supporting clinicians navigate these challenges.
Pip offers regular supervision or one-off sessions as needed. Please note that If it becomes clear that further personal therapy is required, Pip will suggest this.
Please note, Pip does not provide supervision for the psychology 4+2, 5+1 or registrar programs.
